Sreshta FAB was born out of the quiet strength and undying spirit of its founder Sindhu Vinod. Ever since childhood, she had an innate flair for business. Since she had a discerning eye for colour, texture and its beautiful combinations, she would imagine herself as a garment entrepreneur even as a young child, which she then mistook as a passing fancy. However, life had its own sweet course.

Later in life, she completed her masters in a different subject and was all set to pursue a teaching career. However, due to some sudden health challenges, she could not pursue a full time job. That's when her entrepreneurial spirit got reawakened.

With a heart full of passion, seeking her parent's blessings(Her late father was also a business man), and with the solid moral and financial support of her husband, she began a home based business of sarees and dresses, mainly for friends and relatives. Though it was a casual venture, it caught the attention of many.

In 2019, Sindhu decided to turn her humble venture into a non profit model, inspired by the works of the Humanitarian Mission Organisation she was associated with and also by her mother who always advocated selflessness. Thus she started channelling her small profits to support the organisation, close to her heart. 

While the intention was noble, she got to realize that for her business to grow and be sustainable, she needed to strike a better balance. 

That's when Sreshta FAB took its next leap. Sindhu Vinod launched her website www.sreshtafab.com to present India's traditional weaves to a wider audience while still envisioning to be socially committed. 

Today, a meaningful portion of her yearly profit goes towards the same old cause and the rest is invested into business and growth.
